About Us

READY NON-EMERGENCY MEDICAL TRANSPORTATION is a non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) company based in Lake Charles, Louisiana, and serving the surrounding area. Owned by Chrystal McGruder, she's originally from Mamou, La. A mother and widow, with a passion to serve others.

We provide safe and reliable transportation services for individuals who are unable to transport themselves to medical appointments, rehabilitation centers, and other non-emergency medical facilities.

Our target audience includes individuals who require assistance with transportation to and from medical appointments and non-emergency medical services, as well as healthcare providers, patients, caregivers and family members, health insurance providers, community organizations, government agencies, corporate clients, and educational institutions.

Our main goal is to provide quality transportation services to vulnerable populations and expand our reach beyond Lake Charles and its surrounding area. We aim to establish relationships with healthcare providers, target patients with difficulty accessing transportation, and work with health insurance providers and Medicaid/Medicare to become an approved transportation provider.

Safety is our top priority. Our vehicles are regularly inspected and maintained to ensure they are in excellent condition. Our drivers are trained to handle medical emergencies and are CPR certified. We also follow all safety protocols and guidelines set by the Department of Transportation.
